Protecting What Matters in our Communities

There is nothing more important than the health and safety of our employees, and our own product, Foster® First Defense™ Disinfectant (40-80), provided us an opportunity to protect our facilities, our families, and our communities.

Since Foster® First Defense™ Disinfectant was proven to be effective against viruses similar to COVID-19 on hard, non-porous surfaces and approved for use in the United States and Canada, we worked quickly to get a supply to each facility in those regions to properly disinfect our working areas.

We then offered our more than 2,000 employees a supply for their personal use, free of charge. To date, we distributed 1,694 gallons to our North American facilities.

Employees were very appreciative of the program, sending many notes of thanks and appreciation. One employee shared, “I am thankful to work for a company that cares about my safety!”

We also introduced a program that allowed our employees to donate Foster First Defense disinfectant to non-profit community partners, including food shelves, schools, churches, and first responders. The company donated more than 300 gallons to organizations across North America.
